1 bedroom monohull houseboat

We have lived on our son's houseboat for the last 2 years but have recently bought a boat of our own so it's been decided it's time to find a new family who will enjoy it as much as our family has.
We have only used it as a static houseboat (essentially a floating home in the marina), connected to power & mains water.
When we had the outboard motor serviced recently we were told that the gearbox had some problems. They said replacement parts (from Japan) would cost $4k. Alternatively, we were quoted $13-15k for a new motor (either a 40,50 or 60HP).
So the decision has been made to sell it 'as is, where is'. So that way the new owner can decide whether they want to leave it where it is, tow it to a new location, replace motor or have it repaired.
We had the boat slipped in Sept '24 and hull was sanded back & repainted. We have EPA, gas & electrical compliance paperwork. Boat is registered & insured.
Have spoken to the marina & they have confirmed that the berth is available (if required) so long as the boat is insured. They require 1st months mooring fees upfront & there is a standard agreement to be signed (that details the marina rules).
Boat is located in Murray Bridge.
We are happy to answer any questions.
