Diversion was built in 1999 by renowned quality houseboat builder, Ian Kemp Marine. Diversion was actually wider than most houseboats on the Lake, at that time. With the advent of the new permitted sizes for houseboats, Diversion underwent a major refurbishment and extension in 2016. She is now 58ft in length plus hydraulic duckboard. The external cladding and eaves were reclad with Composite Aluminium. New external Flexi Teak Decking on all levels. Fresh new internal appearance and décor.

The extended rear deck with a large hydraulic duckboard makes a great space for all to enjoy. Love water sports and fun in the water, this is where it all happens.

The rear of the first storey level was also extended to enlarge the Al Fresco area. Sit back, sip some bubbles watch the sunset dance on the water.

The top deck is all new. Take in the Sun and laze on the front sun beds. Sit around and chat in the hub as you watch the milky wave appear at night. You can reach out and touch the stars.

Besides the new brilliant layout and décor, there are four bedrooms to sleep all the family; each with a magnificent view over the water. The Master includes a full ensuite.

The upgrades on Diversion included the latest Solar Electric Technology with a Selectronic SP Pro Series Inverter/Charger System; an Outback Solar Charge Controller, plus an ample supply of house batteries feed by 10 large solar panels. These are backed up by a Kohler 9kva generator.

With all this power, you can afford to run the R/C Air-Conditioners, electric fridges, laundry, the Satellite TV and more.

Importantly, there is a Bow Thruster to aid manoeuvrability.
