Houseboat for sale - 'Serendipity'. Price $210,000 negotiable. Marked down from $240,000. Urgent sale. Owner moving overseas (yes, seriously!). All reasonable offers are considered.

This is your chance to go off-grid - power and drinking water. 'Serendipity is a fully refurbished, older-style houseboat with all modern conveniences, as listed below. It has full-length visibility internally for the driver and each of the three bedrooms has it's own sliding door external access.

This is a "walk in, walk out sale". All bedding, curtains, towels, kitchenware, cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots, pans, including the herbs and spices have been left on-board. Just walk on-board and it's all set up and ready to go.

Solar panels (14 with one spare), Red Earth battery (12.3 kw's of storage) and backup generator (valued at approx $30,000)

Water filtration system (with automatic cleaning) plus UV filtration system as well. (valued at approx $15,000). Note, there is a freshwater tank as backup.

About the boat:
It's approximately 19 x 9 metres and is powered by two 60 hp, Yamaha outboards. Both have been serviced regularly. Two (connected) fuel tanks hold about 500 litres of fuel in total.
It has two steel pontoons which were sand-blasted and repainted in August 2022.
Downstairs there are three bedrooms and upstairs a queen bed, with mozzie net, for sleeping out in the warmer months. You can sleep eight people comfortably, legally ten.
There are two dining areas: one downstairs and one on the upper deck.
The upper deck has been re-fiberglassed and covered (valued at $20,000).
There are also covered, smaller deck areas, front and back, on the lower level.
The shower room downstairs has been modernised and there is also a toilet outside - a loo with a view!
The stairs have been remade to be super safe and there is stainless steel wire all around the top deck balustrade for kid and dog safety (valued at about $15,000).
There is heaps of storage space on the upper deck plus a good-sized cooler box on the front deck.
Included is a two-person kayak with seats and paddles.
