2018 YAMAHA 2.5 HP 4 STROKE OUTBOARD MOTOR.  

I purchased this motor for a boat which did not eventuate, so I have never used it other than to run it on the stand. The previous owner told me that he bought it new but ill health forced the sale of his boat and the motor only had about two tanks of fuel through it. Apart from a few minor scuffs on the cowling the motor is in as new condition. The boat I did eventually buy had a motor with it, hence my need to sell this one. Manufactured in February 2018 and with little use and carefully stored, this motor would suit a new buyer at a little over half new price. The motor transmission has only forward but no reverse, but this is more than compensated for by the ability to completely turn the motor around 180 degrees and thrust forward with a locking mechanism to keep the motor from tilting. This ability gives excellent and instantaneous manoeuvrability. First to see will buy.
