Anchor Fortress FX-23
The Fortress FX-23 is made in the US of a light weight, high tensile, corrosion resistant aluminium magnesium alloy. It provides much greater holding power than anchors of a similar weight. Put another way, it weighs a fraction of other anchors that provide a similar holding power. It can be easily and quickly disassembled for stowing and is incredibly space efficient.

I had this anchor stowed below the floor boards in the saloon of my sailboat as my secondary anchor for the last 5 years but never used it. It is incredibly compact and easy to stow and manuover. It is quick and easy to assemble. It complies with/exceeds Australian Sailing special regulation 4.05 for category 1 races for boats up to 13 metres LOA and displacement up to 9,500 kgs. It is a fantastic secondary anchor for offshore races.
