YANMAR SD20 SAIL DRIVE - COMPLETELY REFURBISHED!
Stripped down & serviced with all water galleries de-scaled and detailed as well as the Aluminium Sail Drive body sandblasted back to bare metal and sprayed with 2 x coats of 2-pack Aluminium-custom marine primer, followed by 2 x top coats of 2-pack marine gloss enamel - this Sail Drive is ready to go at under half the price of a new SD 20!

NEW Lower (LARGE) Primary Diaphragm & S/S Securing Band
NEW Hull Rubber Boot
NEW Complete set of Lower Output Gear Seals & O Rings
NEW Water Cock Assembly Tap
NEW Sail Drive Mount
NEW Split Circle Sail Drive lower Anode
NEW Top Anode
The above seal kits, anodes, boots, diaphragms tap, sail drive mount and S/S bands are still in their wrappers and retail at just over $2250 so this is a real bargain!
Originally installed as one of two sail drives in a catamaran and paired with 2 x Yamaha 3YM30E Diesel engines, the owner had originally intended to refit the SD 20's after a full service including all seals, diaphragms and refinishing.
Unfortunately, after having them totally reconditioned and purchasing entire new Seal & Diaphragm kits, it was decided to re-power the catamaran instead by moving up to the Yanmar 40 HP Diesel and SD 60 Sail Drives leaving this SD20 superfluous to use.
(The second SD 20 was recently sold after under going similar reconditioning and fitted in a mono hull)
