1970 ELECTRIC GENTLEMENS CRUISER 5M  

Beautifully restored 1970 Timber Gentlemens Cruiser, this vessel has had the hull fireberglassed inside and out as well as the cabin roof, making the vessel extremly strong and water tight never having to worry about repairing timber damage again.
She has had a new wrap around bench seat installed along with a new engine and battery box, the seat is cantilevering creating good storage space and allowing good air flow to prevent dampness.

The vessel has been fitted with a Vetus 5kw electric motor making for a very smooth and silent ride pushing the boat at a max speed of around 7kts, the motor is powered by a 205ah 48v lithium ion battery bank providing a 6hr run time before the vessel needs to be recharged. The electric system also includes a shore power inlet and lead which operates the 48v battery charger. There is a digital display on the top of the battery box giving your a state of charge readout of the batteries so you know when you need to recharge.

The boat has all new brass navigation lights and a warm white LED strip light under the seating and deck to light up the interior nicely, the vessel also has a bilge pump with a manual and automatic float power 24hrs.

In the cabin there is a lewmar hatch to give good air flow and let in some light, there is also a fire exstinguisher located on the bulkhead.

The tiller is adjustable with a locking pin and the boat comes with a new custom rain cover for the rear opening.

The vessel has had a new paint job with non skid decks and teak grab rails to make it easy to get on the fwd deck.
