ALUFARM TRI HULL EX TOUR BOAT  

Built by Alufarm, Goolwa, to commercial standard as a Coorong tour boat licenced for 14 passengers. Solid aluminium tri hull with fully welded floor. The superstructure is timber ply on a strong aluminium frame.
Now converted to a small houseboat with twin single beds, galley, toilet etc.
This boat only draws about 350mm so is ideal for shallow water work as encountered in the Coorong. But the tri hull configuration makes it extremely stable. However it is built for these conditions. I don't have any knowledge of its capability in the sea. However, the previous owner who operated it as a tour boat, did take it up to the Whitsundays and used it around the islands. But he did have twin 90hp motors on the back rather than the twin 50s that are on there now.
The toilet is a porta potti inside a separate room. There are no black or grey water tanks under the floor. Neither is there a shower or a hot water service. I am frequently queried on those points.
Powered by twin 50hp Honda 4 stroke motors with approx 300hrs.
There is a 400L fuel tank and 200L water tank under the floor.
12v and 240v power is supplied by two 300W Solar panels to two 140A batteries and a 2000W inverter. This is quite capable of running the upright fridge/freezer, microwave, TV, fan etc.
The roof is accessible via a ladder at the front. It is quite strong enough to support the weight of mulitple persons and has two large storage boxes for gear.
There is also a large bimini to provide shade.
It has a triaxle trailer in good condition to allow removal from the water for servicing and storage. The trailer is home made, albeit very well done but is rated to 2t because it has no electric brakes. Also it has no suspension and the wheel span is not wide enough so not strictly road legal although I do take it short distances around town.
If you are enquiring from interstate etc. Be prepared to truck it to your destination. On the trailer it is approx 2.7m wide by 9.5m long and weighs 2.5 - 3t. Height on the trailer with the top hand rail removed is about 3.1m. With the rail in place it is about 3.8m.
