Seven Star Marine Sales in conjunction with Jim Stuart Marine are proud, for the first time in more than 20 years, to present "Azura"to the market. From the design board of Legendary Designer/Builder Barry Martin, like all Assegais she is built in Strip Cedar, commonly refferred to as the West System, with an amazingly strong Epoxy Glass Laminate inside and out.
The construction method makes for a Lighter, Stronger, Stiffer Build and with Barry's expertise in design and construction their track record stands alone and has easily stood the test of time, while many are winding in their lines and heading for home like all Assegais "Azura" just keeps on fishing with her unmatched ride, speed and stability in the worst of conditions.

Azura was originally built in 2B Survey and sucessfully fished the east coast before heading around the bottom to WA and has been in the same private ownership since. Azura has been a much loved and cared for Game Fisher and Family Cruiser. It is an absolute pleasure to represent a boat whose owner has shown a "no expence spared" attitude in the care, upgrades, upkeep and maintenance of "Azura". In return for that committment "Azura" has made many far flung return trips to Exmouth and beyond and never required assistance, the boat is additionally loaded with spares and parts, and with her large fuel capacity and watermaking abilities can be self-sufficient for extended remote stays, this says so much about the boat and the owner.

Performance ranges from pleasant displacement speed cruising at 6 - 8 knots, planning flat at approxiametely 14knots to cruising at 20 knots at 1750 RPM fully loaded thru to WOT at 2200 RPM of 28-30 knots depending on trim.

"Azura" carries approx 4800 litres of fuel in 4 Centreline Intergrated GRP Tanks offering a cruise range in excess of 500 Nautical Miles at 20 knots with approx 20% in Reserve.

Fishing/Cruising/Comfort and Performance were clearly in the design brief and all have been extensively catered for.
