Bayview 23

Kay Cottee Bayview 23". This GRP launch was designed by famous Australian Yachtswoman Kay Cottee. The design was based on the fishing trawlers that operated on the Clarence River. Built in 2006 in Yamba this boat is ideal for river, bay or canal cruising and the perfect blend of traditional style with modern technology. The spacious cockpit can accommodate 8-10 people.
As well as her spacious cockpit, she features tiller steering, a lockable cabin, a generous 2 meter long V berth, 4 stylish portholes, a stove, individual lighting a switchboard, a large opening deck hatch and a portaloo (never used).
This boat underwent a complete restoration in 2021 by a recognised shipbuilder. Included in the works were 2 new bunk cushions in stainless stain resistant denim synthetic suede, new bimini, new boat cover complete with solar panel, new plastic 32l diesel tank, new bilge pump, new Volvo Penta D1-20 motor including gearbox, complete with new control lever and Volvo control panel. New exhaust hoses installed plus an additional external fuel filter/water separator. Engine has done 172 hours only. The engine has been serviced annually by Volvo dealer since new and a full service history is available.
The hull and top sides were re-sprayed and the bottom sandblasted and new anti fouling applied as part of the renovation. A stainless steel protective plate was added to the bow. Plus a new cutlass bearing installed.
The boat was slipped 25 June 2025 and new anti-fouling applied plus prop speed was applied to the propeller (Refer photographs)
The boat is in fabulous condition and ready for immediate inspection. The reason for sale is owner moving interstate.
