"Memories" is a rugged, seakindly, aft wheel house, Celery Top Pine cruiser. She was designed and built by the legendary designer/shipwright, Bernard Wilson, in the style of the famous Tassie cray boats. This vessel, powered by the 6bta Cummins diesel, supplemented by sail power (gaff-rigged main and furling headsail), is an ideal coastal (and blue water) cruiser/expedition vessel. The crew will appreciate the shelter and comfort of the wheelhouse and the cosy aft saloon/galley, plus the spacious focsle sleeping quarters (4 berths). With an approximate cruising range under motor of well over 1800 nm, plus sail power, "Memories' is all about adventure (in comfort and style)... ' Sweet Memories. The wheelhouse, with sliding doors (port and starboard), incorporates the private head/hot shower, a bench seat that can double as a pilot berth, and access aft to the saloon. Step down to the saloon with the full service galley to port, a single berth opposite and the dinette and settee aft. Back on deck and forward, and step down to the spacious fo'c'sle sleeping quarters with a double V berth and two generous singles.
The galley is located aft of the wheelhouse. It is full service, meaning the cook has everything at his/her fingertips to keep a hungry crew happy. Equipment includes the quality New Force gas stove/oven, fridge, large stainless steel sink with hot/cold mixer tap, benchtop space for food preparation and plenty of purpose-designed storage.
