A classic of the 80's era range of trawler style displacement cruisers, the Blue Seas 36 is well regarded for its build quality and sea kindliness, along with timeless good looks. "Soleil" is a superb example, and a credit to her owners, these being only the third since new. She is powered by a single Ford Lees 120 hp diesel, the robust and economical workhorse loved by all who own one.
Soleil's hull, cabin, brightwork, decks and interior are all in sparkling condition. Accommodation consists of two double cabins and a convertible dinette, well-equipped galley with 2 fridges; and a large bathroom with separate shower stall. One of the great features of the Blue Seas is the covered walk-around side decks with door access from the helm. The cockpit area has a transom gate opening to a generous extended swim platform protected with railing.
Soleil is well equipped with full electronics, Yanmar/Dunlite 5 KVA generator, solar charging and a new set of flybridge covers/bimini. Her ongoing maintenance is evident in her presentation, and includes a full set of new seacocks in 2021.
With a genuine shortage of quality displacement cruisers, it is a pleasure to list a vessel of "Soleil's" calibre.
