Originally built by Blunts in Williamstown as a work boat in 1940,"Romper" carried crew out to steam ships in Hobsons Bay. During WW1 she ferried soldiers out to the troop carriers anchored in the harbour.
She was rebuilt by Blunts in the 1950's which included the fitting of her current Gardner 4LW diesel. She has been loved by only a few owners since new and always well maintained. Heavily constructed with New Zealand Kauri planking, "Romper" is 35' x 9'6" x 3'6" and pretty as a picture. Covers and paintwork are in very good condition.
A lovely day cruiser with plenty of space, sweet lines and long history.
