Built in 1977, the yacht underwent a complete rebuild from 2004 to 2007 and undergoes annual yard periods. During her rebuild at Balk Shipyard, the yacht was internally gutted, and sandblasted back to her bare metal, then comprehensively rebuilt from the hull up. This was done in partnership with naval architect Navirex and exterior designer Felix Buitendjik. The hull was also lengthened and fitted with a new keel. In addition, all decks were rebuilt, there was a new flybridge constructed and a fully equipped crew area was added.
BERZINC showcases a light, modern interior. The superyacht's spaces are adorned with white décor with pops of color and dark wood floors to create a clean, crisp ambiance. The yacht's main salon and skylounge both provide inviting spaces to entertain guests or relax in comfort.

Built in steel and aluminium by Spanish yard Astilloras de Mallorca to Bureau Veritas class, she was designed by Camper & Nicholsons and launched in 1977.
