The Channel Craft 50 are highly regarded for their exceptional offshore capability, stunning lines, and true versatility. "Silver Pearl" is an excellent example of the design. The hull was professionally built by Channel Craft (TAS), and purchased by a local shipwright. With modifications from renowned Naval Architect Fred Barrett, he has created an exceptional cruising vessel which turns heads where ever it pulls into port. Stepping inside, the spacious saloon combines the very best of both modern and traditional aesthetics. With panoramic visibility, double opening doors, and quality finishes, this amazing space is ideal for relaxing or entertaining. To starboard is the luxurious L-shaped settee with seating for 6 in comfort. Opposite is the well appointed galley. Sure to delight the fussiest chef, it is equipped with a generous upright fridge and freezer, 2 burner gas stove with oven, deep stainless steel sink with pressurised H/C water, and excellent storage for extended cruising. Forward is the helm station to starboard. Well set up for easy short handed cruising, it features a Side Power bow thruster, electronic engine controls and diagnostic display, anchor winch controls, touch screen Raymarine chart plotter/sounder, and VHF Radio. There are also doors either side for immediate access to the side deck for managing lines when berthing. Just a few easy steps down leads to the accommodation, which is ideal for cruising with family or friends. Forward is the generous master-cabin. This features an island double berth, with extensive storage which can also be utilised as two single berths for younger family members. There are also two private midships cabins each with a single pilot-style berth and further storage. The settee in the saloon can also be used as a single berth if additional accommodation is required. This impressive package is complete with a private bathroom with manual toilet (with holding tank) and vanity to port, and separate shower and vanity to starboard.

Outside, the cockpit space is simply exceptional! This versatile area could be utilised for tender storage, cray pots, alfresco dinning, the possibilities are endless! There is also easy access onboard from the marina or tender with the dual opening doors transom doors, and teak swim platform. There is good access forward, and plenty of room on the bow to catch some rays in your favourite anchorage.

This vessel is powered by a 530HP Yanmar 6 cylinder diesel engine with only 290hrs on the clock! Paired with a twin disc gearbox it provides impressive performance cruising at 12 knots with a top speed of 17 knots. It also offers exceptional economy for a vessel of this size using only 40LPH cruising at 12 knots. The engine room is easily accessed from the cockpit, and has to be seen to be fully appreciated. Immaculately presented, it has plenty of room for easy access to all equipment. This vessel is also fitted with a 7.5kVa Westerbeke genset for all the 240V power needs, with only 150hrs on the clock.
