In 1934 Anna K was built on the banks of the Prosser River in Orford, Tas. Originally an open sailing fishing vessel with a 7hp Kelvin auxiliary, she was modified over the years to the form she presents today. Fished all over the state before retiring and taking things easier.
From 2020 onwards she received much attention from the great Bernie Wilson of Triabunna and others including me as new owner.
In this period the hull was : splined under the waterline, additional fastenings at every plank/ rib junction, rebuilt stern log with steel heel added, new transom hung rudder bearings/engineerings.. New 25mm marine ply decks, cap rail, wheelhouse roof and doors. Note wet well has been removed.
In the same period: All new propulsion - Nanni 60hp, gearbox, shaft, couplings, sterntube, prop. All new fuel tank, hoses, plumbing. All new electrics, batteries, Hydraulic steering
Full length steel slipper connects to steel transom hung rudder. Hydraulic steering ram sits above deck for observation/maintenance.
Anna K is ready to go as a fishing/picnic boat and without much work could become a variety of other things too.
Very nice condition. Step on and enjoy.
