CLIPPER CORDOVA 48  

This charming 2012 Clipper Cordova 48 Flybridge is meticulously maintained and is fully equipped for cruising around the Australian Coast. "Escape" has been constantly upgraded and offers all the comforts and characteristics of a classy blue water vessel that perfectly combines practicality and luxury.

The blue water capabilities of Clipper's semi-displacement hull design is well documented, Clipper Yachts are renowned for their great sea keeping abilities in almost all conditions. You always feel safe at the helm either operating from the cockpit or enjoying the view from the flybridge.
She has a fast cruise of 14 knots @ 80% load and being semi displacement will slow cruise at 8 knots for around 600 nautical miles with her 2400 lts fuel capacity.

"Escape" is very well appointed, with numerous upgrades made over the last two years: new upholstery in the saloon and flybridge, new carpet on flybridge.
The Clipper has a two cabins and two toilet layout with separate showers, a large saloon and a well equipped galley. The master cabin has a king size island bed, TV and ensuite bathroom.
The second cabin has a double bed that can be converted in two singles. Extra guests can be accommodated in the saloon where the dinette converts to a double bed and the lounge pulls out to a large single bunk. Every ambient is fully aircoditioned for maximum comfort.

Walk around side decks, fibreglass stairs to the flybridge with teak treads and a starboard side helm door ensures access to all areas of the motor yacht is simple and safe.

The flybridge is a great area where to hangout, you can choose the option to have a full sun/rain protection or remove the screen and have a spacious platform where to enjoy the sun. Cook the catch of the day on the BBQ of the wetbar or enjoy a cold drink or a cocktail admiring the scenery. The fridge has an Icemaker.
The two fusion soundsystem will make sure the music will reach you wherever you are on the vessel.

The Davco hydraulic swim platform at stern, makes it easy to launch the tender and gives you an easy access in and out of the water. There is also a very handy fridge compartment at stern, so you don't have to walk inside wet to grab a cold drink.

The vessel is powered by twin Cummins 5.9lt QSB 440hp diesel engines and, for ease of manoeuvring, has side power electric Bow and Stern Thrusters and a Yacht Controller to operate gears and thrusters remotely. Berthing is simple and comfortable as you can control from anywhere on the boat and even from the dock while trying up. The owner constantly takes out the boat on his own.
An 11kw Onan generator is fitted for 220v power, a Victron 3000 Watt Inverter/Charger, a 120 amp/ hr Victron battery charger combined with inverter and two Victron solar panels on Flybridge.

Water is never an issue having a 240lt/hr water maker and 1200 lt tanks.

Main engines and genset have always been serviced by Cummins technicians, last full service completed August 2023.
Bottom hull was sandblasted of the old antifoul late 2022. Then prepped with 2 coats primer and 2 coats antifouling. Propspeed to props and rudders.
All batteries have been replaced in the last two years. 3 x 245 AGM house batteries, 2 x start batteries, 2 x winch and thruster batteries, 1 x genset battery.
