At approximately 19.81 metres in length with a generous 5.36 metre beam, this vessel offers an enormous amount of usable space throughout. Her heavy-duty steel construction, shallow 0.91 metre draft, shaft-driven diesel propulsion and bow thruster make her particularly well suited to river cruising and inland waterways.

The accommodation is arranged around a practical three-cabin layout with six berths, providing excellent separation between sleeping and living areas. A spacious central saloon and dedicated bar create an excellent entertaining area, while the dining space and galley are positioned forward of midships.

The galley is well equipped for extended stays aboard with a full-size fridge/freezer, gas stove and oven, while an additional bar fridge services the entertaining area. Hot water is provided by a Rinnai instantaneous system, with hot and cold shower facilities and toilet with holding tank.

Power comes from a 200hp Fordson diesel engine driving through a twin-clutch shaft-drive arrangement, with approximately 2,000 hours recorded. Cruising speeds are approximately 7-12 knots, making this a relaxed and capable platform for extended river passages.

A bow thruster provides valuable assistance when manoeuvring a vessel of this size, particularly around marinas and confined waterways.

Supporting onboard systems include a 6kVA Yanmar/Onan generator, 240V shore power, battery charging system, 3500-watt Redarc inverter and extensive 12V DC electrical systems.

The upper and exterior entertaining areas are another major feature. A hardtop covers the aft deck and flybridge, with clears around the helm offering additional weather protection and extending the vessel's usability throughout the year.

Ground tackle consists of a Muir 3300 electric anchor windlass, plough anchor and approximately 50 metres of chain, while aft davits provide additional equipment-handling capability.

A particularly attractive inclusion is the alloy tender/fishing boat, supplied with its own trailer and powered by a Honda 40hp four-stroke outboard. This adds considerable flexibility for fishing, exploring, shore access or simply enjoying areas beyond the reach of the mothership.

Navigation electronics include a Raymarine Axiom 9 multifunction display, with additional equipment including navigation lights, work lights and a powerful 1000-watt spotlight.

With approximately 1,200 litres of fuel capacity and 400 litres of freshwater storage in a stainless-steel tank, the Heimstra 65 has been configured with genuine extended cruising capability in mind.

The vessel was last serviced in December 2025, antifouled in June 2025, and was also surveyed in June 2025.
