PatteyB is another example of craftsmanship from the steel boat builders in New Zealand. Her faired hull is as smooth as a fibreglass boat but with the strength of cordon steel. She has a wide protected walk around and big boat systems not normally found on a 47 footer including hydraulic bow thruster, windless, davit, and fin stabilisers. The Highfield 290 dingy and 9.9 Suzuki four stroke motor present as new. A 2018 two hundred thousand dollar refit included a new John Deere 6068 motor, solid hardtop, 3000 Vitron charger/inverter, Venus fin stablizers, paint, etc. The eight deep cycle house batteries were new last year. Lightly used these last four years for cruising Queensland waters in the winter.
