A classic cruiser which has had a significant make-over in recent years including re-wiring and re-plumbing. It was re-engined with a Volvo 100hp in 2002 which is believed to have done less than 1000 hours, had a recent hull overhaul including new valves, and new clears, capet and marine cushions. "Dorothy" was carvel built in Eden in 1950 from Oregon.
The cockpit has a full hardtop, but is surrounded by clears that roll up to provide panoramic views in any anchorage with seating for six adults around a high gloss varnished table. The helm station forward to starboard is completely protected and has a recent Axiom chart-plotter, depth gauge, VHF and stereo.
The interior is open plan with a galley counter to port with a small portable single burner cooker, there is a counter-top over the engine box, then the enclosed toilet to starboard. A large V-berth double is in the fore peak.
This is a delightful motor vessel ready to be enjoyed for those weekends and holidays on our spectacular waterways.
