"Te Rauparaha" was built in New Zealand in 1938 for a wealthy family and for family use. During the Second World War, she was requisitioned as a patrol boat by the New Zealand Navy and wore the insignia "Q07", before being handed back to the family and in 1979 she crossed over to New Caledonia. Her new name became "Samara". For a few years she was used for tourist excursions to Amédée Lighthouse before recently undergoing, very successfully, a total overhaul down to the smallest details and under the supervision of a marine surveyor.
The hull and deck were redone, laminated and epoxy coated on all exterior surfaces. The electrical and water circuits reviewed and replaced, new generator set and engines fully reconditioned.
Her loft layout contrasts with a luxurious and custom-made living space. The very cosy and generous exterior space will satisfy the most demanding guests.
