Anchorline is proud to exclusively present the fastidiously maintained 1996 Fairway 36´ Flybridge 'Dionysus' to the market.
The Australian designed and built Fairway cruiser has proven to be economical, low maintenance, safe, and very seaworthy. Over the years, our brokerage has sold many Fairway 36's that have traveled as far north as Darwin, down to Tasmania, and across to Adelaide. This 1996 model has only had 2 owners since being launched; she has been maintained in excellent condition, and recent upgrades have been undertaken to ensure she will be cruising for many years to come.
Accommodating up to six individuals, 'Dionysus' offers a combination of single and double berths, including under and over bunks on the port side, as well as a double berth in the forward cabin. The well equipped galley features a 120L Dometic refrigerator, a 2-burner LP gas cooktop and a 25L convection microwave. A large Nutec eutectic chest refrigerator/freezer is located in the cockpit, below the flybridge ladder. Opposite the galley is a large 'L' shaped settee which can be converted to provide an additional berth if required. White venetian blinds are fitted to the saloon windows, there is LED lighting throughout and breezeway covers are fitted to the forward (accommodation) windows. There is also a shade cloth window cover on the front window.
'Dionysus' is equipped with Glendening controls, Garmin and Humminbird navigation equipment, a TMQ AP50 auto pilot, QL Bow thruster and a 5.6 KVA Mase generator. The QL Bow thruster and Muir windlass can be operated via their respective remotes at both stations, as well as the foredeck. There is also a 12V television, stereo system, and intercom connectivity from the saloon to the flybridge.
Powered by a single Perkins-Sabre M300TI, 'Dionysus' comfortably cruises at 10-15 knots and has a maximum speed of 20 knots. Access to the engine compartment is via two large hatches in the saloon floor. The two fuel and two water tanks are located on either side of the main engine and the 5.6 KVA Mase generator is housed aft of the main engine.
From the saloon, you walk straight out onto the uncluttered (carpeted) cockpit which features an extended awning with clears that make the space usable in all types of weather. Access to the swim platform is through a transom door, and a stainless steel ladder takes you up to the flybridge. A large hatch in the floor gives access to the lazarette (great for storing crab pots), and there are lockers around the cockpit for stowing lines, fenders, etc. There is also a BBQ mounted to the transom on the port side. With clears around three sides on the flybridge and a bimini, you can enjoy cruising from up here or just relaxing whilst at anchor. The two long settees are great for lounging and there is plenty of space on the flybridge deck for lying in the sun, sitting on a beam bag, or storing equipment. The inflatable RIB is kept on a stainless steel cradle and is powered by a 9.8 Tohatsu outboard.
With all maintenance up to date, you can step aboard and be out on the water in time for the Christmas holidays and the summer cruising season. A private inspection of 'Dionysus' is highly recommended, will not disappoint, and is available by prior appointment on the Gold Coast. Please contact our office for further details.
