Fastlane 40

Mercury 525 engines providing a total of 1050 HP.
This Fastlane is 37 of 65 made. The cockpit layout with double helm seat and single copilot seat both flip up to standing bolsters, storage, flip up tables etc. All in excellent condition.

Full new cabin interior including new custom mattress, all trim and carpet, marine reverse cycle air conditioning, flat screen TV and stone bench top to kitchenette and bathroom in 2023

In 2025 both 525s were removed and stripped by 222 Racing mechanics
Both had heads reconditioned. New valves, springs, roller rockers.
Prior to refresh motors had 300 hours with 150 approx at idle or under 2,000 RPM new Starter motors, new engine mounts
New serviceable items such as oils plugs coolant water pumps etc
Starboard bottom end was perfect.
Port had been effected by water from the old exhaust leaking and was due for bearings rings and new cams so all of that was done.
Motors are mint and good forever now
Both exhausts were replaced in full. New Hardin Marine aluminum header manifolds were installed with new tailpipes. The best longest lasting system available on the planet
Both transom shield assemblies were replaced with new.
The bravo 1 drives were removed and tested. Both are mechanically perfect so they were serviced and bolted back on to the new transom shields
New Mercury Racing 380 K planes were installed replacing the standard trim tabs which aren't up to the performance of the boat. Now it's stable and comfortable at any speed
5 new batteries and all wiring for ignition all replaced and upgraded
New victron battery charger with Bluetooth monitoring
New bilge pumps and wiring for all components in the engine compartment. New fresh water pump.
Both motors and air conditioning pump have easily accessible fresh water flush systems and can be flushed using the onboard fresh water supply in the water or out.
All new anchor chain and stainless steel anchor
New Bimini top covers front and rear and new cockpit cover for storage
Offshore hydraulic steering and tiebar
Electric hydraulic engine hatch with custom Fastlane 40 mirror underneath and hull number etched into mirror
Lots of lighting including underwater and selectable colour targa lights etc
Basically everything has been replaced and upgraded except the hull itself which is a 1989 first launched in 1992 however it still is in good condition for its age. Only job to make the boat look mint perfect would be a paint job of the hull however there has never been a Fastlane like this with performance and comfort turnkey ready to go.

All work was undertaken by professionals at IM Services at GoldCoast City Marina, 222 Racing Marine Services and a qualified marine electrician.

I've only taken it out once since it was complete. 9 people to Tangalooma from Hope island. A 200 km round trip.
A quick test of full throttle and with full tanks and 9 people on board we hit 60 mph very quickly. Cruise is comfortable at 40 mph.

Over 100k spent to make this boat as turnkey as possible and every update done with the highest quality components available.
