Fjord 44 Open

2021 FJORD 44 OPEN - UPGRADED TWIN IPS650, GENSET & AIR-CON
(Note: brochure images displayed. Actual vessel images coming soon. )

Drop anchor in Parker Point or Longreach and you'll quickly see why Fjord owners never go unnoticed. With her Mediterranean styling, clean lines, dark T-top and signature hull windows, the Fjord 44 is an absolute standout among the boats at Rottnest, and this example is one of the best-optioned you'll find in Australia.

Performance and handling
She's fitted with the upgraded twin Volvo Penta IPS650 engines (450 hp each). Joystick control makes berthing a stress-free, one-handed job. She's fast, efficient and a genuine pleasure to drive.

Cockpit living
Fjord calls the 44 a "walkaround day yacht", and the cockpit is where she earns it. The flexible seating adapts to the moment: face forward for the run out to the island, then rearrange it for long lunches at anchor. The big aft sunpad is perfect for afternoons in the sun, and there are more sunpads on the foredeck. The electric bimini in the T-top gives you shade at the push of a button, and the indirect mood lighting brings it all to life after dark.

Entertaining made easy
The galley arrangement is set up for real entertaining, not just snacks. There's an electric BBQ, stainless drawer fridges built into the seating, a two-burner gas cooktop and a separate galley fridge. Whoever is cooking stays part of the conversation, and the drinks stay cold all day. Fusion audio plays inside and out, with a remote at the aft sunpad.

Water toys and swimming
The hydraulically opening toy garage swallows the paddleboards, snorkelling gear and inflatables, so nothing clutters the cockpit. The hydraulic swim platform with teak decking lowers into the water for easy swimming and launching the tender, then lifts back up for the trip home.

Built to stay out
There's a Fischer Panda 8 kVA generator with only 174 hours, Dometic air-conditioning with a second shore power inlet, and a full Mastervolt power system with a 3000 W inverter and AGM house bank. Twin Victron isolation transformers protect the IPS pods from galvanic corrosion, which a smart buyer will appreciate. Below there's a flat-screen TV and a Jabsco toilet.

Clever details
The hydraulic anchoring system folds away completely into the bow when not in use, so she keeps her clean, unobstructed lines. Deploying it takes one touch, and a chain counter tells you exactly what's out. At the helm you have a Simrad NSS evo3S 12" display, autopilot and a Simrad VHF marine radio.

With 900 litres of fuel and 295 litres of water, she has the range for island weekends, trips down to Mandurah or longer coastal cruising.

She's immaculate and ready to enjoy.
