Alexander Marine are pleased to have SOLD the 2005 Grand Banks 42 Motor Yacht 'Hemmingway'.

Renowned for its classic design, fine craftsmanship, and practical cruising capabilities, the Grand Banks 42 Motor Yacht has established itself as an iconic vessel since the 1960s.

'Hemmingway' is well-suited for cruising Australia's waterways. Her size offers ample interior space, ensuring comfortable living conditions while remaining manageable for easy handling.

Maintaining the traditional trawler-style profile, 'Hemmingway' showcases Grand Banks' characteristic sheer lines and a distinctive bow, contributing to dry decks and improved seaworthiness. The shallow draft expands anchorage possibilities in picturesque locations.

Stepping aboard 'Hemmingway' the main saloon, with its bright and airy atmosphere, features large Grand Banks signature windows highlighting finely varnished teak details. The engine room, accessible through a hatch in the saloon floor, impresses with space for monitoring and servicing the Twin Cummins 6BTA engines, the new Onan 7KVA generator fitted in 2019 and Side-Power Bow Thruster.
