Alexander Marine are pleased to have AGAIN SOLD the 2006 Grand Banks 49 Eastbay SX 'Moxie'.

'Moxie' is a breathtakingly beautiful and immaculately presented down east style sedan motor yacht - built to a standard only Grand Banks has mastered and cared for by a fastidious owner. The boat has been lavished with extensive upgrades and care over her life - if you are impressed by her photos you will be delighted with what you see when you step onboard.

Access to her teak-laid cockpit is via her wide teak hydraulic hi/lo swim platform. In addition to providing a great entertaining space, the cockpit is well suited to all manner of water sports and is equipped with a front-opening eutectic freezer to store food, refreshments and the catch of the day. At the front of the cockpit against the saloon bulkhead you will find an aft-facing seat, sink and a Cookout stainless steel electric BBQ. Engine room access is possible from the cockpit via a centreline lift up hatch arrangement. Her custom structural hardtop not only shields the entire cockpit from the elements, but also includes a cradle to securely house your tender, along with an ADC 250kg hydraulic crane to effortlessly lift it. Note the hi/lo platform can accommodate a 2nd tender or Jet Ski should you wish to carry more water toys.

Guests will easily move from the cockpit up onto her wide walk-around side decks. As per the cockpit her side decks are teak laid and well maintained. Her toe rails are two pack polyurethane painted for a classic yet maintenance-free look. Her striking Bentley Peacock navy blue hull is two pack painted and presents as new.

Just a few steps up from the cockpit you enter her spacious saloon, and are immediately welcomed by Grand Banks's flawless timberwork and craftsmanship. Her saloon is light, bright and breezy with her 360 degrees wrap-around glazing featuring an electric opening centreline windscreen panel and selected port and starboard opening saloon windows for incredible ventilation. Don't worry - if you are more of the air-conditioning type - we have that covered as well! To port in the saloon you will find an L-shaped settee and hi/lo dining table. To starboard you will find a hi/lo Smart TV with Foxtel satellite capabilities, and a front opening drinks fridge.

For the skipper the helm is positioned to starboard and is fitted with late model touchscreen Axiom Raymarine electronics and a comfortable double helm seat to reel in the miles. The navigator enjoys a forward facing breakfast bench to port. 'Moxie' has enjoyed considerable electrical upgrades including lithium house batteries and a high-end battery management system.

Access to the lower deck galley and twin cabin accommodation layout is via a centreline staircase from the saloon. To port you will find a U-shaped galley that gets lots of natural light from the windscreen above. Her galley features a network of overhead cupboards, Corian bench tops, two Dometic 140L under bench refrigerators, Gaggenau four burner ceramic cooktop and a Gaggenau microwave oven and grill.

Her accommodation layout is a spacious twin cabin arrangement. The master is located in the bow and features an island double bed, twin bedside reading sconces and 12v fans, TV, and an ensuite with separate shower stall. Her midship guest cabin is to starboard and features athwartship single bed to aft, over and under singles berths forward (for a total of three single berths) and reading lights.

'Moxie' is equipped with two toilets and a watermaker.

'Moxie' is powered by Twin Cummins QSM11's at 660hp each permitting an impressive sprint speed. She has recently been mechanically serviced. For ease of docking she is equipped with a Side-Power bow and stern thrusters, and for the ultimate convenience, she is equipped with a Dual Band Yacht Controller wireless docking remote which permits the boat to be used single-handed.
