Twin shaft drive turbo diesel engines with the fitted hybrid option of 2 x 10hp electric engines.

Significant electronics, and hull integrity upgrades including major servicing and Victron reconfiguration to assure ROMAN remains in tip top condition for decades to come. A similarly optioned New GL40 AT $1.5M costing over a million dollars more than ROMAN.

ROMAN is a classic Halverson-esque style, very pleasing to the eye 40 foot planing salon motor yacht with a very stable 14ft beam and a very slippery fuel saving innovative hull design returning brilliant displacement and planing speed fuel burn figures.

Greenline's headquarters are in the UK, manufactured by SVP Yachts whose headquarters are in Fidenza Parma Italy with a reputation for building high end luxury yachts.

Bow & stern thruster optioned. Electric sunroof, and bow double sun bed optioned, Full stem to stern teak option. Autopilot with hand held portable remote control, 3D plotter, navionics top options. Tropical pack option, in fact every option exept the rear davits as the 2.5m tender stows in the starboard cockpit hatch.

The 6 person table in the salon folds down to accommadate an extra 2 guests sleeping a maximum of 6 in comfort inside.

Large 2 way bathroom facilities boasting a large clear partitioned shower, vanity unit with large porcelain bowl and 2 way fresh water bidet toiled with raw water flush.

A second hot and cold water shower retracts into the cockpit near the fold down stern tailgate system.

3 ZONE A/C running from 2 seperate A/C units all with heating, cooling and dehumidifying options.

Large 6ft upright 240v 2 door fridge freezer and literally dozens of storgage cupboards and cabinets.

Mirrored glass clear door wine and glass keep was chosen as the preferred option when new instead of the dishwasher option.

Diesel regeneration = 5Kva per side touch screen programmable when operating as 5kw Dynamos via the 7Kw elecric (hybrid drive) engines mounted aft of the diesel engines.

6 x deepcycle 12v 200Ah house & engine batteries.

2 x 25.6v 400 Ah LiFePo4 Victron batteries provide storage via solar system and dynamos giving an approximate aggregate of 25KwHrs onboard electrical reserve. Approximately 15% of which is drawn down every night to power the fridge freezer, hot water, and keeping the 6 12v deep cycle batteries 100% charged at all times.

Displacement cruise speed of 7 knots consumes a meager 6 litres per hour. (4.5knots = 2.5Lt/Hr)

She planes at 10 knots at around 30 Lt/Hr.

14 knots = 45 Lt/Hr @ 3500rpm

WOT= 19Knots @ 60 Lt/Hr (4100rpm)

Slipped annually. Most recent slip was this 31st Jan 2025 to 7 Feb 2025.( scheduled annual service $5.6k)

Minor gel-coat dimpling was noted during Feb 2025 slipping for service as a result of incorrect isolator barrier coats applied pre antifoul when new.
The Greenline hull manufacturing process boasts osmosis proof fibreglass resins in its vacuum bag hull laying process thus there is no structural impediment.

It was deemed prudent moving forward to remove the entire below waterline gel coat which is less than 1mm thick overall when tested and apply this vastly stronger more durable 5mm thick poly-vinyl waterproofing system, then apply the correct 3 isolator and barrier coats prior to 2 roller coats of Jotun seamaster40 antifoul. Gel-coats are porous and if the initial barrier and isolator coats are not correctly applied to a new hull in the first instance gel-coat dimpling will occur.

This corrective upgrading process has been scheduled for May 30th at the Coomera Boat works where the vessel will be shedded and hull improved by shipwrights during the 10 week process which is included in the price.

New propspeed, all 12 hull raw water cocks, shafts, skeg bearings and watercooled seals and props will be serviced during the 10 week out of water hull barrier resurfacing upgrade when lifted on May 30 2025 (cost to me to future proof the hull barrier gel-coat with a more robust long lasting series of much thicker polyvinyl pre anti-foul veneer waterproofing coats is in the order of $60,000. This will insure hull waterproofing integrity for decades into the future)


Interior and the full teak option is immaculate also. ROMAN can be viewed on our backyard Private Jetty in Commera Waters for the next 10 weeks prior to being shedded at the Coomera Boatworks for its major Hull waterproofing upgrade which I've already committed to with a deposit to assure a timeslot.
