"Stella" was the last 26' Halvorsen standard cruiser built at the Halvorsen yard in Ryde as job number 1199 and launched on 7 May 1964. Designed for the Halvorsen hire fleet at Bobbin Head in 1954 by Harvey Halvorsen, the 26 was a popular vessel for a quiet family holiday on the Hawkesbury. Stella served in the hire fleet from 1964 to 2006 and was purchased by her current owners in 2014.
She has been extensively restored and is offered for sale to a discerning buyer who loves classic boats and will keep her "in the manner to which she has become accustomed. "
With proper care and maintenance, she will live for many more decades.
Stella is ideal for a first time Halvorsen owner or for an existing Halvorsen owner seeking to downsize. At 7.93 metres long she can be easily sailed single handed.
