Perterson 43 'Run Amuk', an 1981 solid built alloy sloop, been maintained in commercial survey 2C for 2+12 Pax. Current Queensland Certifacate of Operation to Oct 2030.
Full 6ft head rood bellow, galley, shower / toilet, double V berth, large single/double beds port and stbd quaters, bunks.
The Peterson design #77 was one of the most successful IOR racing designs. The first example of this design was Wings, constructed of C-Flex over a plywood jig. A mold was made from this boat's hull. 'Acadia' was a winner at the SORC series. Scarlett O'Hara, boat of this same design won the same event overall a few years later.
The method of construction for this semi-production version was advanced for this period especially considering the number that were ultimately produced. Modern yachts are simple not had to this strength.
Sydney to Habart race record for most ever finishes - Another Peterson yacht in the 2025 Sydney to Hobart saw 'Bacardi' compete in her 32th race to Hobart with 30 finishes - it is the most ever sailed by an individual yacht.
