Aluminium fast cruising expedition vessel with proven offshore performance.
Designed by Incat Crowther and built in Tasmania by Richardson Divine Marine, this customised expedition cruising vessel combines commercial-grade construction, big Detroit Diesel power and true 30-knot cruising performance with a fully modernised fitout.
Designed and built as a commercial charter boat, a major refurbishment, completed in Fremantle through 2024, converted to vessel the luxury cruising outfit being sold today. Both main engines were rebuilt in-frame. The wheelhouse and lower accommodation were completely refitted. AC and DC wiring was renewed. New integrated Raymarine electronics were installed. The hull (above and below the waterline), superstructure and aft deck received new protective coatings. The aft hardtop was extended with a new aluminium/fibreglass-lined section and new synthetic decking was fitted fore and aft.

& Plenty more!
Power is a major part of the package.
Twin Detroit Diesel 8V92 DDEC3 V8 two-stroke turbocharged diesels produce approximately 548kW / 735hp each. Drive is through Twin Disc DD511V reduction gearboxes (1.5:1) to twin Seafury surface drives with five-blade props, with electronic engine controls at the helm.
This is not a conventional shaft-drive cruiser.
The numbers speak for themselves. On a recent sea trial off Coogee, she sat on 30 knots at 2,045rpm, burning approximately 190 L/hr combined (6.3 L/nm). Coolant ran at 77-78°C, oil temperature 83-86°C and oil pressure 56-61psi on both engines. Opened up, she recorded 38.5 knots at approximately 2,390rpm.
With approximately 4,000 litres of fuel onboard, that gives a calculated range of approximately 570 nautical miles at 30 knots, keeping a 10% reserve.
The engine room is clean and laid out to a commercial standard, with resilient engine mounts, new stainless steel exhausts and mixers, Racor fuel filter/water separators, M&J sea strainers, a Jabsco oil-change system and a Fireboy FM-200 fire suppression system.
The helm has also been completely modernised.
Twin 12-inch Raymarine multifunction displays sit front and centre, supported by Raymarine Quantum 2 radar, GPS, autopilot, VHF with handset and rudder-angle indication. Twin Maretron DSM570 displays and Detroit DDEC displays provide dedicated engine monitoring, while an Airmar B260 transducer supports the sounder system. A Garmin handheld GPS and Plastimo Offshore 135 compass provide backup, and Starlink keeps you connected offshore.
A Side-Power bow thruster adds control around marinas and tight berths.
Inside, the recent refit is immediately obvious. The saloon is bright, clean and modern, with large panoramic windows, sliding side windows, overhead hatches, light timber cabinetry and carpet throughout. Opposite the helm, a U-shaped dinette with a timber pedestal table seats the whole crew, with a wall-mounted TV and Fusion stereo.
The L-shaped galley offers generous stone-look bench space, a stainless steel sink with mixer tap, stainless fridge/freezer, Panasonic microwave, 240V and USB outlets, and plenty of drawer and cupboard storage.
A full bathroom sits at main-deck level, with an electric marine toilet, vanity basin, hand-held shower and opening window.
Down a carpeted companionway, the forward cabin was refitted as part of the same program. A raised island double berth with drawers and cupboard storage beneath is flanked by port and starboard lounge seating, with an overhead hatch, reading lights, fans, recessed timber shelving and overhead rod storage.
The large aft deck is where this vessel really opens up. The extended hardtop gives excellent coverage, clear side enclosures add weather protection and the synthetic decking creates a clean, low-maintenance finish. There is room to fish, dive, entertain, carry gear or simply enjoy the space.
The vessel was built to USL 2C standards. Commercial survey is currently inactive and the vessel is presently operated as a private pleasure vessel.
For a buyer wanting something stronger, faster and more individual than a conventional production cruiser, this is for you.
