Boats like 'Pandanus' are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Built in Queensland by Kevin Dick & Sons, this 2001 Kellick 33´ Flybridge combines timeless lines, a substantial feel on the water and the practical simplicity of a genuine coastal cruiser.
With her 10-tonne displacement and proven hull design, 'Pandanus' delivers the reassuring sea-keeping qualities for which these boats are so highly regarded. A single Caterpillar 3208TA 375hp diesel provides an economical cruising speed of between 12 and 16 knots, while a Side-Power bow thruster and dual helm stations make her comfortable to operate around the marina or further afield.
Life aboard flows naturally from the bright and welcoming saloon through to the generous aft cockpit. Protected by a solid hardtop and opening directly onto the swim platform, the cockpit is equally suited to entertaining, fishing or relaxing at anchor.
Inside, the practical galley is equipped with a Smev gas oven, three-burner cooktop, and eutectic fridge and freezer. Accommodation is provided for four, with additional space available in the saloon, while the on-deck bathroom and separate deck shower add further convenience.
The flybridge provides excellent visibility, guest seating and full instrumentation, complemented by Simrad electronics, radar and autopilot. A Paguro generator, inverter, Muir windlass, Ultra anchor and custom-made static stabilisers further enhance her capability and comfort, particularly when spending extended time aboard.
Maintained to a high standard, recently serviced and ready for immediate enjoyment, 'Pandanus' represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a highly regarded Australian-built cruiser with genuine character and capability.
