Larson 37 Cabrio DIESEL SHAFT DRIVES 2006
Very rare option
Larson make a great boat and hold a large market share in the USA, this one is even better than most due to the fact she is powered by a pair of Volvo D6 producing 370Hp. Very low hours under 900.
This vessel was built for the Australian market with factory finished 230 volt 50 hz power and appliances. Generator is factory supplied 230 volt 50 hz.
This vessel sports a large beam which in turn provides enormous volumes inside.
Accommodation consists of a double bed fwd, with a two way door to the head, Aft is a convertible lounge to a second double bed, with a privacy curtain. In addition the lounge can accommodate another 2 people. The single head is located on the port side and is spacious in design and very practical with a sliding round glass shower screen, vacuum toilet and vanity with storage.
Aft of the head still on the portside you will find an open galley with compact yet functional design/layout, large two door upright fridge freezer in both AC and DC power, 2 burner electric cooktop, Convection microwave, plus ample storage space.
Heading up the 3 steps to the cockpit and helm first thing you will find on the stbd side is an ergonomical design helm, everything is at your fingertips. Volvo electronic throttle controls, bow thruster control, Raymarine Hybrid touch GPS/Sounder, Auto Pilot, remote windlass, right side of the helm has a series of rocker switches that control all lighting, hatch controls, Horn, battery parallel, etc.
Next to the helm on the left is an opening section of the front screen with built in stairs to provide a safe and seamless access to the bow, anchor, fender baskets etc. There is also a padded sun lounge on the bow.
Behind the helm is party central with luxury lounge seating, cocktail table, external large TV, fridge, sink, this entire area has custom seadeck flooring and it can be fully closed or open pending on your mood.
Aft from here is the swim platform with rails and fishing table/bait board.
The engine room is directly under the cockpit sole and is accessible via a hydraulic hatch which is the cockpit floor. When this hatch is raised (which is very easy) you have a plethora of space and access to both engines and all mechanical components.
Being shaft driven thru gear boxes driving large diameter propellers you have less annual maintenance and much better control in tight quarters then the standard petrol and stern drive options.
If you are chasing a wide body large volume cruiser to suit family use either cruising your local waterways and port hoping this could be the boat for you.
Please call today to book an inspection to see if she meets your needs.
I don't think you will be disappointed.
