There has been some serious money spent on the boat so you can image there has been alot done overall to this boat, more than could be listed here ! and all done for far less than replacement value of a boat in the 28 foot fly bridge price point ! With over 50k spent just in the engine bay alone the current owner did not cut any corners with a new Mercruiser 8.2lt Mag HO V8 430 Hp stern drive installed in March 2026 and a full overhaul of the engine bed and surrounding area. New engine bearers and a fresh flow coat finish.... And the cheque book stayed open throughout the boat.

Fresh carpets, upholsteries and breezeways throughout the Cockpit with an extended hardtop aft will offer you an ideal location to relax with family, rig the dive gear or drop a line for a feed of sweet King George whiting. Amongst the deepest internal freeboard of any boat in the market currently the Leeder range of boats is ideal if you have young children onboard ensuring a safe day on the water and making your way to the extended swim platform could not be easier with a Port side transom door with access to the water with a custom folding and removable stainless steel ladder. There has been alot of design thought with the Leeder 28 with the current owners installing 12 volts sockets, USB sockets and Anderson plugs top the Cockpit allowing charging of BT speakers, Phones or powering up additional cold storage with an Engel.

A pair of sliding Saloon doors opens the internal space to the Cockpit with a set of custom lounges installed to both Port and Starboard side. All underlying cabinetry has been replaced with ample storage options and fridge recess for the new Dometic fridge, both lounges double as additional berths when the kids come along for the weekend with Fresh carpet, upholstery, head linings and wiring throughout the Saloon and lower helm having been replaced. Neatly installed under the Port lounge is 400ah of lithium batteries, Itech DCDC charger, itech battery charger, a new Kuuma HWS and new fresh water pumps along with associated wiring and pipe works. The underfloor tanks were removed from the mid line of the boat, the area flow coated and new tanks installed. The money spent on the boat is amazing. The commitment to the boat continues through the forward cabin with fresh carpets, fresh flow coating and fresh upholsteries to the cabin cushions and side pockets. LED lighting throughout the boat and 12v fans have been installed for those warm WA summers nights. Plenty of storage below the berths keeping the boat clutter free.

Offering a twin helm installation the lower helm is a paired back no fuss affair with a stainless steel helm wheel, DTS Mercruiser controls and a Lowrance HDS9 sounder / GPS combination. Its simple and straight to the point and wil be ideal when operating the boat as a solo skipper allowing easy access to the jetty and ropes. Most of your driving will be in the Fly Bridge and the attention to detail has not stopped here. A removable ladder allows access to the Fly Bridge and maximises space in the Cockpit. A rear lounge has been installed to the aft section fo the Fly Bridge with Stainless Steel framing, seating for 4 comfortably here. A table now resides in the Fly Bridge allowing that social approach with the sun sinking in the West each evening. Twin deluxe helm seat have been installed on swivel to join the Sundowner crowd on the Fly Bride with a "dickie " set aft of the skipper that the family dog might call theres given the chance. Twin extended biminis overhead offer you all the shade you need with a set of clears and wrap around barwork covers keeping the wind at bay on your trip home. All you need is right at hand with a concise and very functional upper helm available to the skipper. DTS Mercruiser controls, Stainless Steel helm wheel, upgraded hydraulic steering throughout both helms, Lowrance HDS12 Pro with auto pilot, GME G-Com VHF, Fusion stereo and vessel view digital gauge panel. The Fly Bridge helm has been very well thought through, Concise and functional.

Making your way forward the Leeder 28 offers great access with the refurbishment works including raising the height of the Stainless Steel bow rails, adding Stainless Steel fender baskets and an opening forward most bow rail for access to the jetty. The winch has been replaced with a Quick winch with twin foot switches allowing operation from the foredeck or Flybridge. New anchor chain and 16mm nylon rope has been installed. You could swing off the anchor through a storm

Installed in March of 2026 the Mercruiser 8.2lt Mag HO V8 Big Block stern drive is a work of art offering 430 Hp and as Mercury themselves say " Big-block muscle for big-time fun. The MerCruiser 8.2L Stern drive engine generates the torque to get heavy boats out of the hole and to cruising speeds quickly, without sacrificing fuel economy. The perfect choice for big adventures. " This is the right choice for the boat with water test numbers from the installation team exceeding 30 knots at 5000rpm.
