Steel Ex-Prawn Trawler with Modified Rear Deck

Removal of the commercial prawning gear, including the winch base blocks, has opened up the rear deck. A steel frame constructed from 5mm wall-thickness material supports the awning, providing sun protection and additional storage above and below the covered area.

Kurrowera measures approximately 4.76m wide and is powered by a 324hp Cummins diesel engine with approximately 10,000 hours. Accommodation includes four beds, a toilet and hot shower, with 11,000 litres of fuel capacity and 2,000 litres of freshwater capacity.

AMSA Certificate Status

The vessel has no current Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) Certificate of Operation (CoO) or Certificate of Survey (CoS). Reinstatement may be possible; interested buyers should discuss this with their preferred AMSA-accredited marine surveyor.
