This boat was built by designer Clive Caporn as his personal use in 1978.
The hull is hand laid solid fibreglass as used in the Mariner Pacer 26 and has been kept in pristine condition.
It has had a recent out of water survey and sanding, faring, re-bonding was done before anti-fouling in April.
Over the last five years the boat has been completely repainted, inside and out, and all timber has been stripped back and varnished with a minimum of seven coats.
The timber is rot free and minimal maintainance should be required for years to come.
New canvas covers have been made to protect the timber and cockpit area.
The original thirsty V8 Chrysler engine has been replaced with a new Yanmar diesel which sips fuel and starts first time, every time.
It has logged only slightly over 100 hours and is coupled to a v-drive to shaft with all seals and lubrication in order.
The diesel/shaft propels the boat easily to hull speed and will cruise all day at 6 knots.
The hull is very stable and days out can be enjoyed without pitching and rocking at anchor.
Accomodation inside is a v-berth at the bow and an extra bunk drop down table.
The kitchenette has a modern Waeco fridge below the stone sink counter which features a two burner LPG stove top.
A stereo radio with Bluetooth connectivity is coupled to speakers within the cabin.
The flooring is solid strip teak both inside the cabin and the rear cockpit. The swim platform is teak, as are the twin bench seats in the cockpit.
All electrics have been replaced and the dual batteries are kept charged with a roof mounted solar panel.
After five enjoyable years, it's time to move on to my next project and so I'm keen to sell and will consider reasonable offers.
