If youre reading this then I would say you know more about the Mariner 34 than me ! From what i read when they were released they were considered a mid sized tough offshore cruiser. This boat has seen better days thats for sure, however, having poked around, lifted out floor boards and everything else i could find, the hull, deck and everything structural looks great. Ive seen other boats this age with stress cracks, spider cracks around the stanchions and fitting etc.. And this one has none - I can only surmise she has been lightly used.
The owner is not in good health and just needs to move it on.
I can tell you that these things are huge down below for a 34 footer.
She has 2 Chrysler diesel engines (200HP each) that have 2300 hours on them, electric anchor winch, ground tackle. All the windows and frames are in great condition, the decks and rear deck are good.
This is a perfect boat for someone prepared to put in a bit of work and clean it up and save yourself lots of money. On the market i can see well kept examples sell for up to $50K
