Mariner 39 Aft Cabin

A beautifully built 44' LOA "Trawler" made in Taiwan for Mariner Australia in 1982 this boat has the history and heritage of off shore cruising. They certainly don't build them like this grand dame any more... The level of comfort aboard this vessel is astounding!

***** All canvas dodgers, hatch covers and Fly Bimini covers being replaced Feb 26.

***** Full insurance survey done 20 November 2025 and available on enquiry.

Forward there's a very generous v-berth cabin with huge dry storage space under each berth. All cabin lining carpet was replaced with cream 100% pure wool carpet, lightening and modernising the cabin greatly.

A large hanging locker, with drawers under, a cabinet with an internal shelf, and desk with a drawer under and mirror affixed above.

The cabin also has a 36" HD TV connected to wifi for streaming services, television and navigation systems monitoring.

Above each bunk is an opening hatch for ventilation, safety and access to the foredeck. In addition there are 4 portholes in the coachroof that allow plenty of light to flood the cabin.

To port there is an en-suite door into the forward heads on the same level with full facilities, composting toilet, hand basin, shower head and teak shower grate for drainage to the bilge, along with storage under the vanity and a convenient locker behind the WC.

A seperate door exits you to the foot of two steps up to the saloon. This also means that you can use the forward head without disturbing the people sleeping in the forward cabin!

The Saloon is a lovely light filled living area / galley / internal helm and navigation area. To starboard lies the main entrance into the vessel via a sliding side door, then the galley counter with double stainless sink, brand new Laminex benchtops, Microvave and a Miele washer and dryer.

Affixed to the aft bulkhead of the starboard side of the saloon are companionway steps up to a pair of opening doors and hatch leading safely to the vast aft sundeck area (great feature for those with young children aboard as no need to go along the side decks to get access to the sundeck and/or up to the flybridge).

To the port side of the saloon is the front opening 12v240v fridge/freezer. Then there's the L-shaped seating area that comfortably seats 8 for a sit down meal, or alternatively the table can be folded up to coffee table. Also, lots of storage underneath the benches.

Unlike similar style boats, this girl is so beamy that even with someone cooking in the galley area, others coming and going or moving around the saloon table, it does not bother the chef. It is worth noting that all the saloon seating upholstery has been recently replaced in a lovely modern pale grey quality material.

Aft is a stateroom that is not often even found aboard 50ft+ yachts, with its Koala queen size island bed taking centre stage. The woodwork around the aft suite lends an air of sophisticated elegance and the storage along each side of the cabin is ideal for live aboards. Recenly installed warm LED strip lighting above the bed head for ambiance and to provide good lighting to read by. New blackout curtains cover the 9 portholes.

To starboard there is a seperate en-suite shower cubicle with a bench seat which makes showering a comfortable experience as there's plenty of space and no chance of flooding the cabin. And lots of hot water.

To port is a seperate en-suite heads compartment with a washbasin, masses of storage and a composting toilet.

Lastly the electronics have been upgraded to the 21st century with touch screen Simrad Multi Function Displays upstairs and downstairs with an independent Wifi network (12v) than can be used via an iPad/Tablet with brand new Simrad Radar. Connected Autohelm means you can drive via your mobile device!
