QCAT is a roomy, economical and cool looking cat that uses just under 1 ltr per nautical mile at 8 knots. The Flybridge gives all round visibility that seats 2 with an aft deck and can be accessed from the side as well as a clever fold down ladder system that frees up the cockpit when raised. The 3 year old tender is hoisted with an electric winch and sits securely on the duckboard.
The shaft driven diesels are accessed through doors in the companionway bulkhead with false floors giving excellent sound proofing and plenty of room for maintenance checks.
From the dock or dinghy there is large swim platforms and walk through transoms to easily enter the cockpit, good storage and BBQ area.
Entering the saloon the galley is up and to starboard with a well insulated 240ltr front opening fridge and vegetable crisper with 2 seperate freezers. With nearly 7' headroom, plenty of screened opening hatches and windows and cut outs forward giving the feeling you're on a much bigger boat.
The 2 forward Queen cabins have raised floors making getting in and out of bed easy with plenty of storage underneath as well as draws and a hanging locker. The head is aft on the starboard side with a seperate shower. Portside aft is a great little workshop area.
