Max Creese 35 Motor Cruiser GREAT CONDITION, ULTRA-EFFICIENT, PROVEN VESSEL!!

Designed and built by the famed Max Creese using a proven hull, this Max Creese 35 carries the same capable and efficient lines as many of its sisterships. Originally commissioned for the Creese family, "Toheroa" is a fine example of the popular motor cruiser that presents in great condition throughout. Sporting a light and airy interior, this vessel makes for an excellent cruiser with plenty of accommodation for the family and great open living spaces. Featuring a vast cockpit space, this vessel is well equipped for adventures and outdoor entertainment. Upon launch, Toheroa was relocated by Creese' son, Peter, before her current owner purchased the vessel and returned it to Tasmania, proving itself as a brilliant sea-going vessel having crossed Bass Strait twice.

The interior provides excellent near-single-level living with only 2 steps down into the accommodation and galley space forward. The wheelhouse and upper-saloon area benefits from fantastic visibility and provides a settee and dinette to starboard for 4, plus a bench settee to port with additional seating for at least 3 or 4. The lower internal helm sits to starboard and is very well equipped, featuring a NEW (2018) Lowrance 9" sounder and plotter, a GME VHF and all the engine telemetry and controls you would expect. The helm seat itself cleverly pulls up and can be flipped around when seated at the dinette behind.

Forward and down only 2 steps is an additional space that houses a wonderfully large galley, further seating and a fully enclosed head. The head sits to port and features a NEW (2023) marine electric toilet, vanity with sink and excellent clever storage. The galley is well equipped, featuring a NEW (2020) 4-burner gas stove with oven and grill, a large stainless-steel sink, deep in-built chest style fridge/freezer and enormous storage. To port is a large bench settee, providing enough seating for at least 3, doubling as an additional berth with a clever foot cut-out forward. The forward accommodation provides a deep double berth with excellent storage below and a central in-fill. Additional sleeping can be found using the port bench settee in the wheelhouse, totalling accommodation for 4.

Drive comes from a reliable Perkins 6354 6-cylinder turbo diesel engine, producing 145hp for an efficient and comfortable cruise of 10 knots and a top of 14. With 600L of diesel tankage and consumption of just 8-9 L/hr at its cruise, this vessel presents itself as an excellent motor cruiser for exploring further untouched grounds. The engine is well-maintained with recent and regular servicing, being easily accessible and sits neatly in a well-presented engine compartment. Drive is provided via a Paragon gearbox that has benefited from proper maintenance, plus a heavy-duty V-drive shaft and NEW (2020) stern tube and dripless seal.

The cockpit may be one of the crowning features of this vessel, being oversized for this length vessel, but also featuring high sides, seating atop the engine compartment, a clever aft storage locker, excellent access to the steering gear and a NEW (2021) 12V electric craypot hauler to the starboard side. A second outdoor helm can also be found just forward of the pot hauler, featuring a wheel and engine controls. The flybridge serves as a great additional living space on a sunny day with a third helm wheel, seating for two and great deck space.

Presenting in fantastic condition, this Max Creese designed and built motor cruiser is perfect for the power-cruising enthusiasts. Packing great accommodation and interior spaces with a fabulous cockpit and efficient hull, it is the ideal platform for families and adventure.
