Millkraft 57' Timber Cruiser for sale (60ft LOA)
~URGENT SALE DUE TO ILL HEALTH~
- 60ft LOA, beam 16ft, draft 5ft 8".
- A bespoke 1956 Bulimba build for the Small's Chocolate company. She spent many years entertaining on Sydney Harbour and has also circumnavigated Australia, as well as venturing as far as New Caledonia!
- Huon Pine hull, FRP over timber cabin, decks and flybridge.
- 2x steering stations (Saloon & Flybridge), including Simrad and Furuno electronics.
- 2x reliable/economical 90hp Leyland diesel engines (12ltrs each at 8-10kn cruising), starts and runs.
- There's also a Mase generator which is currently not operational (missing water pump), however, there is a new water pump onboard for it, so this may be serviceable with some mechanical attention.
- The AC needs further assessment/repair, possibly just a re-gas.
- Built for range with 2x 1200ltr s/s diesel tanks + 2000ltrs water (diesel tanks are currently almost full).
- The handcrafted interior is in excellent condition with new carpets, recently upgraded 12v LED down lights, and a brand new (unused) 12v upright fridge/freezer.
- The bespoke layout includes a huge saloon with 2x fridges and extra large settee (upholstery in excellent condition).
- Downstairs, the galley, dinning and bathroom offer the same bespoke finishes as well as full height ceilings (full height shower and seperate head), and plenty of storage/room to move.
- The living quarters include a spacious double owners cabin and a second single cabin, but could accommodate up to 8 guests including the large saloon and equally spacious covered flybridge (hardtop with clears in great condition).
- The forward deck, aft deck and flybridge offer tons of space for lounging or entertaining, and the rear dingy davits and duckboard offer easy access, including a "swinging davit" for easy loading of the 15hp outboard motor.
- Zodiac rib to go with the Mercury 15hp outboard.
- 4x start batteries and 2x house batteries all replaced in 2025.
- Near new electric anchor and bilge pumps.
- All hoses for the motors and exhaust were professionally replaced in 2022, however, there's a few lines and belts that could be replaced again, along with a basic service of the motors (start first time/running condition).

- The vessel does need some work (happy to discuss). Prior to the change in my circumstances, I had started some maintenance, obtained quotes and planned to get the boat lifted for hull maintenance.
