Oram 1200
A low maitenance coastal cruiser with outstanding performance and fuel efficiency. Easily driven long Semi Displacement hulls give speed and fuel efficiency. 5.5m beam gives excellent stability. High deck clearance means no wave slap and shallow draft gives access to all areas. Designed and built by Bob Oram for his own use. Has cruised north to the Whitsundays and south to Sydney. Recently travelled from Ballina NSW to Yeppoon QLD solo, in four days, averaging 12knts and two klms per ltr. I once did a trip from Inskip Point to the QLD Cruising Yacht Club in six hrs, that is 180 klms. Top speed 19 knts or if you like to save money can get three klms per ltr at 8 knts. 1.9m headroom through the saloon. Forward sleeping cabin can be a Queen, two singles or three children whilst the Aft cabbin has a private double.
