The 2019 Palm Beach 55 Sedan 'Independence' is a standout example of a design celebrated for its timeless down-east lines, elegant proportions and unmistakable on-water presence. Finished with a deep navy hull colour and varnished teak capping rails, she presents a truly refined profile underway and at rest. One owner from new and having cruised only around 620 hours, 'Independence' has been maintained to an exacting standard and is presented in superb condition.

Stepping aboard, the aft deck is the natural heart of the vessel, thoughtfully configured for entertaining. A centreline settee and table sit beneath the bimini, a wet bar to port keeps refreshments close at hand, and teak underfoot runs out to the swim platform beyond. Twin sliding transom doors open the cockpit through to the saloon, creating a single, connected living space close enough to the water that the sea is always part of the company.

The galley shares the same main-deck level as the living space, a configuration unique to the Sedan that keeps owners and guests together and maximises the sense of space on board.

Below, three cabins sleep six to eight. The owner's stateroom features a centreline berth with a private ensuite, while port and starboard guest cabins share a well-appointed day head, each finished with the same care as the master. On deck, a foredeck sun pad offers a quieter retreat forward, away from the entertaining spaces aft.

Beneath her, 'Independence' is powered by twin Volvo Penta D11 IPS diesels delivering 725 horsepower apiece for a 26-knot cruise and 30 knots at the top, while twin Quick Gyro X16 stabilisers hold her level at anchor and underway alike. A Side-Power bow thruster, Zipwake trim interceptors and a MagnaSine inverter drawing on the new 2026 AGM house bank round out a systems package that has been methodically upgraded rather than left to age, supported by a Fischer Panda generator. A dedicated garage with a deck lift stows the 10-foot Williams jet tender cleanly out of sight.
