Princess 40 Flybridge LOW HOURS, SHAFT-DRIVEN FAMILY CRUISER!

A premium build from one of the world's most reputable brands, the Princess 40 Flybridge offers complete and comfortable cruising in style. Featuring two spacious double cabins, two fully equipped heads, a large saloon and galley, lower and flybridge helm stations and a terrific cockpit, "Albie-Tross" provides all you could want in a circa-40ft flybridge cruiser. Perfect for coastal cruising at speed, this vessel features a pair of reliable shaft-driven diesel Volvo Penta engines, a Kohler generator providing 240V output, a tender crane/davit and more! Benefiting from a host of recent upgrades, Albie-Tross is well-equipped and makes for the perfect stylish family cruiser.

Large floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors with stainless steel frames open to reveal an interior that is cleverly thought-out with premium finishes and plenty of open space to feel like a second home. With great natural light, premium cream leathers and suede against varnished timber trims, the saloon immediately feels timeless and welcoming. While some interior lining has fallen victim to the infamous glue failure and is showing signs of sagging, the interior presents exceptionally well for its age and would respond extremely well to some light attention to the upholstery. A large settee is to starboard with plenty of seating for at least 4-5 around a large timber dinette, plus an additional bench-settee is positioned to port with seating for 2-3. Without sacrificing lounge space while still retaining below-decks cabin space, this vessel benefits from the addition of a lower helm station. Perfect for less favourable weather as a more comfortable driving location and handy when underway during a meal. This helm features a Raymarine C-series multifunction display, twin Raymarine ST60 displays with depth and boat speed, a Raymarine autopilot, Sleipner bow thruster controls plus a range of engine telemetry and controls. This helm is in close proximity to the galley and allows the skipper to remain in touch and social with guests on board no matter the circumstances. The galley is positioned a couple steps down and to port, featuring excellent floor space for easy movement, large work areas, a 2-burner electric cooktop, microwave, Dometic fridge and freezer and twin sinks.

The accommodation space is generous for this class of vessel, featuring a forward master cabin, midships twin guest cabin and two large and fully equipped heads. The forward master cabin benefits from a large double berth with great walk-around access and enormous storage - perfect for extended stays onboard. This cabin benefits from a private ensuite that features an electric toilet and holding tank, enclosed shower stall and spacious vanity area. The guest cabin sits midships and to starboard. With full-standing headroom in its landing area, this cabin is equally as comfortable as the master for extended stays. It features twin single berths and plenty of storage, plus direct access to the second head. The guest head benefits from dual access; directly from the guest cabin and from the main corridor. This head features an electric toilet with holding tank, separate shower stall and large vanity.
The cockpit is equally well thought-out, featuring excellent protection to either side with high bulwarks that in themselves provide storage and a sink on the starboard side and an electric BBQ to port. The cockpit makes for a terrific location to socialise and relax with a large settee across the aft. The boarding platform is fitted with a stainless-steel railing and fixed snap-davits for the Highfield UL260 tender. Concealed in the transom boot is a hydraulic tender crane for easy launch and retrieval if a larger tender is desired. The lazarette is accessed via the aft-most hatch beneath the cockpit, revealing a large space that extends the full beam and right to the stern - perfect for toys and extra items. The Kohler 6.5 KVA generator is positioned in this space and features only 790hrs of use, presenting in fantastic condition. The engine room is separate and can be accessed through the fore-most cockpit hatch or via the removable floor in the saloon for greater access. Power comes from a pair of Volvo Penta 370hp diesels, providing thrust through electronic throttles and direct shafts. Both engines have received large works in recent years, such as NEW 2025 exhaust systems and major servicing.

Access to the flybridge is via a rarely seen (in this category) and fantastic moulded staircase, making movement far easier when underway or with other objects in hand. The flybridge itself is spacious and provides extraordinary 360-degree views through a full set of NEW 2023 PVC clears. With enormous lounge seating and a double sun-pad, the flybridge provides the perfect space to unwind and relax. The flybridge helm station provides an excellent underway vantage point and the opportunity to unwind even while at the helm. Navigation is simple thanks to a second Raymarine C-Series multifunction display, Raymarine ST60 display, Raymarine autopilot, Sleipner bow thruster controls and various engine telemetry and controls.

Side deck access is simple and safe with a couple of steps leading up from the cockpit. Accompanied by high stainless-steel railings and plenty of handholds fitted to the superstructure, movement fore and aft is easy. The bow features a large chain locker, Maxwell electric windlass, a CQR anchor and plenty of chain.
A premium build that features a fantastic and comfortable layout with brilliant amenities, Albie-Tross truly makes for an excellent family cruiser, whether it be for weekend or day trips only, or for extended multiple-week stays - no spaces on board feel cramped or cluttered. With recent works to maintain the reliability of this vessel as a dependable cruiser, Albie-Tross is ready to enjoy for a summer of boating ahead!
