Description: Randell 35 Forward cabin
Len Randell design (W. A. ) built by Chivers Marine (W. A. ) originally as a cray boat in 1984. Subsequently fully upgraded at Bundaberg after use as a reef fishing and spanner crab boat commercially in Qld. Upgraded for use privately from 2010 to present. Is presently configured for fishing and crabbing in the Great Sandy Straits Qld and offshore of the Wide Bay Bar Qld. The vessel is ideal for fishing and crabbing trips over several days and is currently being used with a 4 blade slow speed propellor for economy and reduced speeds for the Sandy Straits. The boat is based at Tin Can Bay on for and aft Qld Transport moorings. This vessel is NOT a pleasure cruiser but is perfect for the owners uses, the rear deck has aluminium checker plate deck fitted and it has a large ice box on the rear deck. The hull is solid fibreglass and the deck and cabin are GRP. The large rear awning is aluminium checker plate and suitable for walking on. The awning catches rainwater which is channelled to a large 200 litre tank on the rear deck. There is a 200 litre water tank in the foc'sle. It is suitable for up to three people to comfortably spend days away having a fishing and crabbing holiday.

The boat can be road transported with one escort vehicle and the radar mast has been modified to be able to be removed to meet the height requirement. Dry weight is 8 tonnes.
