Riviera 3000 Offshore

This Riviera 3000 Offshore has undergone an extensive refit and presents as a genuinely turn-key boat, equally suited to offshore fishing, family cruising, entertaining and comfortable overnight trips.

A major refit was completed during 2024, with further mechanical and cosmetic upgrades completed throughout 2025 and July 2026. The vessel has been extensively rewired, with all-new electrical cabling, fittings, switch panels, gauges, engine instruments, inverter system, lighting and bilge pumps installed throughout. The boat is also solar-ready, although solar panels have not yet been fitted.

A new high-capacity 800Ah house battery bank powers the onboard systems, including the efficient DC air-conditioning system. The air conditioning can operate for approximately 20 hours without the engines or a generator running, depending on conditions and other electrical usage. There is also a separate 200Ah engine-start battery bank.

A premium Bose/Fusion marine sound system valued at approximately $5,600 has been installed, together with a 32-inch 12V smart television. All internal and external lighting has been upgraded, including new underwater lights.

The bathroom has been completely refreshed with new tapware, fittings and fixtures. The galley includes two marine refrigerators installed in 2024, an electric cooktop, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. The cabin upholstery, cockpit upholstery, clears and canopy were all renewed or completely rebuilt in 2024.

Mechanically, the twin Volvo Penta 200HP turbo-diesel engines have approximately 942 hours. New turbochargers were installed in 2024, the gearbox clutches were renewed in 2025, and the engine cooling pipework, hoses and fittings have been replaced. The engine-room insulation, propeller shaft bearings, skin fittings and numerous associated components have also been renewed.

The boat has reliable shaft drives, a bow thruster, easy engine-room access through the hydraulically lifting cockpit floor and a comfortable cruising speed of approximately 22 knots.

The exterior has also received significant attention. The original plastic fittings have been replaced with quality 316 stainless-steel fittings. New teak gunwale timbers were installed in 2025, together with new stainless-steel rod holders and fixtures. The cockpit teak has been refurbished and freshly varnished, and a custom stainless-steel rear rack has been constructed to support the stainless-steel barbecue and tender.

Heavy-tackle fishing outriggers make it a capable offshore fishing platform, while the generous cockpit is equally suited to entertaining family and friends, relaxing at the reef or enjoying weekends away.

The vessel received fresh antifoul, Propspeed and a full cut and polish in July 2026. The anchor and chain have also been replaced, the deck fittings have been removed, serviced and refitted, and many of the costly age-related items commonly found on boats of this era have already been addressed.

This is not simply an older Riviera that has been tidied up for sale. Substantial money, time and care have been invested into its mechanical, electrical, interior and exterior systems. It is a well-equipped, comfortable and capable vessel that is ready to step aboard and enjoy immediately.
