This RIVIERA 36 Platinum, extended to 38 may be the answer to the practical family that likes a bit of luxury and a good sized back deck. This boat was professionally extended shortly after delivery having the hull extended by 2 ft to 38ft, with the owners welcoming the extra space out the back to compliment the spacious interior. This model has the big boat feel but is a modest and easy to handle size, that is perfect for Rottnest living and performs well in our blue water conditions. Lots of comforts from the 2 x cabin, 1 x bathroom layout while boasting a big saloon with lots of natural light and features to keep the family wanting for very little. Australian built and 167 of this model were delivered between 1993 and the early 2000's. The market certainly received this feature packet model well through worldwide sales and certainly many were delivered into WA.

The cockpit with extended shade awning and breezeway enclosure certainly creates the perfect entertaining or fishing space, depending on the occasion. Moving inside the saloon has a leather couch to port that can be converted to another double berth, then there is lots of free space to the starboard side behind the lower helm station in the saloon. The galley is also very spacious and fresh looking with the gloss Cherry Wood timber features all round and lots of storage under the floor. Moving down the hallway and the bathroom is a good size with separate shower stall and both the FORWARD double and STBD side BUNK cabins have plenty of room. Certainly a very well proportioned boat. The engine room is tidy and offers plenty of room to service the well maintained Cummins diesels.
