We purchased this Riviera 3850 with one clear purpose in mind: to bring our family together and enjoy quality time on the water. Based on Hobsons Bay in Victoria, she has been the perfect platform for relaxed family cruising, casual entertaining and simply getting away from the day-to-day to spend time with one another.

The two-cabin layout was a major reason we chose this boat. It comfortably accommodates our family of four, including two adult children, without anyone feeling cramped. Whether it was day trips around the bay, weekends anchored up, or evenings spent onboard enjoying a meal and good conversation, the boat consistently delivered comfort, practicality and enjoyment.

We have loved how versatile the Riviera 3850 is. She is equally at home cruising Hobsons Bay as she is sitting at anchor with the BBQ going, music playing and the cockpit set up for relaxed entertaining. The flybridge provides excellent visibility and a great social space underway, while the saloon and cockpit flow together seamlessly, making it easy to enjoy time onboard regardless of the weather.

We are only parting with this boat due to a change in family circumstances and how often we are realistically able to use her going forward. This decision has nothing to do with the boat itself, which has been a pleasure to own and has delivered exactly what we hoped for when we bought her.
