The Riviera 40 exploded onto the market with the introduction of the 'Millennium series' in the year 2000 and was an instant success, at the time there was no other Australian or international manufacturer that could match the quality of the interior fitout and exterior styling and finishes, Riviera remains the benchmark in pleasure boat building not only here in Australia but all around the world. 'Perron Bouy' is an exceptionally well presented vessel and is powered by the preferred 430Hp Volvo diesels, with the on board power being provided by a Kohler genset.

The luxurious interior offers a master cabin with a queen sized island berth and a guest cabin with three single bunks. The galley has loads of storage and is like the entire interior timber work finished in gloss American cherry. The Nova Kool refrigeration has been replaced recently and a ozefridge plate have been fitted to the cockpit ice box, replacing the troubled factory unit. Interior carpets have been replaced in recent times and the upholstery is in excellent condition. There is a 4 person dinette forward of the saloon for formal dining and a 3/4 length awning in the cockpit providing shade for outside entertaining.
