Riviera 40 Open Flybridge - Absolutely stunning vessel, very low hours

One of the most popular Riviera models ever built. After its release, the Riviera 40 quickly became the sought after choice for Western Australians in the early 2000s, and the model remained in production until 2006.'Geronimo' is a lovely example.

At 45ft overall, she is easy to handle and fits the purple Rottnest mooring system. They are cost effective to berth and maintain, with a clever layout that suits the average family of five and still leaves room for more. The forward master cabin includes an island double berth. The starboard cabin has two single bunks, with the option of a third in the form of an equally comfortable drop down single. The saloon lounge converts to a double sofa bed, and the flybridge can also sleep one or two more. A shared bathroom includes a separate shower stall and a Sealand Vacuflush fresh water toilet.

Geronimo has been well loved not only by her current owners, but also by the previous owners, who repaired, replaced, renewed, polished, and maintained her to a very high standard. Inside, she presents like a boat half her age. Outside, she gleams from bow to stern.

Powered by upgraded Volvo Penta 480HP engines, she reaches 28 knots and cruises effortlessly at 20 knots. Serviced by Woodhams Mechanical in September 2025 and antifouled, there is really nothing to do except load your personal gear and head off to your favourite destination.

A registered 3m Zodiac RIB tender with a 15HP Mercury outboard sits neatly on the bow and can be launched and retrieved with an electric davit system. This makes it easy to head out and check the cray pots before breakfast or tow the kids on a surfboard to keep them entertained.

A Sea Recovery desalinator provides endless water. An Onan genset supplies 240V power for all your home comforts, including Cruisair air conditioning to the main saloon.

All in all, 'Geronimo' is the complete package and can include a prime berth at Port Coogee if required.
