Riviera 4000 Offshore HARDTOP with 480 Hp CUMMINS

Proving to be enormously popular here in our local Mandurah waters, this is yet another Riviera 4000 Offshore available that will let you enjoy the local waters without fear of rubbing the roof on the various bridges we have to deal with on our way to a local restaurant, access to all the canal properties is issue free. The added bonus with this 2005 example is the upgraded engines to the Cummins 6CTA 480 Hp ! These guarantee the best ride available in the Riviera 4000 Offshore hardtop series of boats.

The current owners have a fastidious maintenance approach to all their boats and this Riviera 4000 offshore is no different. Looked after like one of the kids and presented like it was attending its first day of school you will be suitably impressed !

Having spent much of her life here in Mandurah " Tosca " offers the renowned Riviera comfort and finish with the added attraction of 480 Hp Cummins engines giving her a 30 knot WOT when comparative examples with smaller engines tend to top out at around 25 knots. " Tosca" will cruise between 23 and 24 knots for around 100lt an hour according to her current owners. That's a comfortable trip to Rotto and back or further afield heading to Port Geo for the summer.

An aft GRP swim platform with Stainless Steel railings allows easy access to the boat and through the transom door to the Mod Teak laid Cockpit. An open plan layout allowing you to customise to your needs, open up a table and surround it with chairs for a family lunch or pack everything away and entertain with the whole family on your favourite mooring. An overhead 3/4 length rear awning will protect you from the sun. Plenty of refrigeration with a refrigerated cool box and Nova Cool fridge so no one will go thirsty ! Salt and fresh water available in the aft locker keeping everything clean as the day progresses.

Two small steps up to the Cork finished Mezzanine through the rear cruise curtain is the heart of the boat, a wide beam allows for ample seating and outstanding vision in all directions thorough glass screens under a hardtop. Room for 6 to 8 people to relax plus the skipper in his plush double helm seat to the Starboard side. The 4000 Offshore is a pleasure to drive and one of the most manoeuvrable boats I have driven through the canals under tight conditions and with the addition of the Side Power bow thruster you would not want for more ability to put this boat exactly where you want it to be.

A centrally located Saloon door leads you down three steps to the Galley installed to the Port side. A solid bench top with cherry timber finishes creates that rich luxurious feel we all look for in the lower areas of our boats. Standing over 6 feet I don't feel closed in or confined in the 4000 Offshore Galley and utilising the various storage options will have you well stocked for extended trips. Fisher & Paykal twin element stove, Sharp microwave and a Nova Cool fridge fill the needs of the Galley in keeping the family feed and watered. Turn on one of the two AC units on a hot summers day to cool the whole boat down, yes the Saloon and the Helm have AC outlets. Imagine running out to sea with a cooling AC vent pointing in your direction......

A large forward master cabin is set in the bow with an island style extended queen sized berth with storage below ready for one of the best nights sleeps you will have on the water. Pin the bi-fold cabin door open or close it up if there are guests making use of the Saloon lounge when opened up to its king single / small double berth configuration with an over head single bunk. Sleeping at least 5. A favoured feature of the 4000 series is the separate shower and toilet no more wet towels as you step out of the shower.

The engine package will stand this apart from any other 4000 Offshores on the market normally fitted with the Cummins 370 this example has the upgraded Cummins 6CAT 480 Hp giving you a more efficient boat on the water. This was not a cheap upgrade at the time of build and really sets this one apart in the WA market when comparing other hard top versions. Combined with electronic controls and the revered twin disc gear boxes " Tosca " is a pleasure to drive and trying to hold her to 5 knots in the canals is a challenge. A great helm position with excellent vision and a brace of electronic makes navigation a simple process. A recently installed Garmin GPS/Sounder combination sounder, Raymarine ST6001 Auto Pilot, Trim tabs, Side Power bow thruser and a Muir chain counter take pride of place at the helm. Currently showing 1162 hours there is plenty of life remaining in this engine package.
